Agonda Beach, Goa
It's one of the rare solitary beaches in South Goa and is a far cry from its cousin, Palolem Beach, which sees a majority of tourists. A way of Caribbean culture seems to have swept over the place, with the locals often seen basking on the sunlit beach. Much larger than many other beaches of Goa, Agonda is a haven for solitude seekers, with soft music often playing in the background and palm trees swaying in the wind.
It's also famous as a Ridley Turtle Nesting Sight - another reason that makes it more subdued than other beaches.
NEARBY PLACES
It stretches quite close to Dr Pundlik Gaitonde Road, and some 15 minutes from Palolem Beach. You can walk the pleasant stretch between the two beaches.
